Tere Derbez-Zacher

Tere Zacher a former Swimming World Champion and at age 44 qualified as an alternate to Olympic Games in the marathon running for Mexico. She has also ran her personal bests this year (2:36.9 in the marathon, 1:13.5 in the half marathon, 17:25 in the 5k). Her goal is to become the oldest woman ever to qualify for Olympic Games (in Tokyo 2020) and in the process to keep getting faster and winning races.

Tere has a PsyD in sport psychology, writes for Runner’s World Mexico and for Women’s Health among many other magazines (and her own blog www.insightfulrunner.com)
