Mark LeBlanc is a triathlete and road cyclist from Lafayette, Louisiana. Mark has been a lifelong athlete but just recently began competing in endurance sports two years ago because of the burning desire to be involved in competitive sport once again. Just ten weeks after beginning his triathlon training he completed his first 70.3 distance triathlon and went on to complete two more 70.3s in his first year of competition. While training for Texas 70.3 in early 2015 he developed an injury which required him to bring his running training to a halt.
Having always been his strength, he continued to train on the bike and began competing in road races with 4th Dimension Racing where he has found great success. He has since won every road race he has raced in, while also winning multiple criterium races. He is very much an all around cyclist, but his strengths lie in time trialling and his ability to produce an incredibly strong sprint even at the end of long, difficult races.
